“Justice prevails”: This was the title of the article displayed on the website of RA Government on RA Government making amendments in its decision № 684-N dated on 18 June 2008. According to this decision, 21,75 ha of pine forest from “Jrvezh” Forest Park belonging to the Ministry of Nature Protection of RA was alienated and passed to the jurisdiction of Voghchaberd Community.

At the government session on 15 October a decision was adopted to return the aforementioned territory to “Jrvezh” Forest Park. “As a matter of fact, we have recovered justice by this decision,” said RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan at the session. The Prime Minister mentioned the active position of NGOs, the National Academy of Sciences of RA and mass media as substantiation for the amendments in the government decision.
