In May Yerevan will accede to the initiative of the European Commission “Agreement of Mayors”, under which Yerevan Municipality will have a commitment by 2020 to reduce emission of exhaust gases by 20 percent and more. The Head of Nature Protection of Department of Yerevan Municipality Avet Martirosyan advised about this action to Tert.am. A team of professionals have been set up for the purpose of bilateral cooperation.

The strategic action plan will be worked out in near future.
