In accordance with the government decision no. 836-N dated on 1 July 2010, the status of 207,4 ha land area in “”Voghji”, Syunik Region has been changed and awarded the status of land area for industrial and mining significance. 206 ha in this territory was forest-covered, while 135,7 ha - forest.
As the decision says, this land area was claimed to “Zangezour Copper and Molybdenum Combine” CJSC still in 1952 by the decision of Ministers Committee no. 12816.
