In reply to environmental public demand to annul the government decision on establishing Gilan Wildlife Preserve and thereby to recover the integrity of “Khosrov Forest” State Reserve, Public Prosecutor’s Office was the first to reply. Acting Head of Department for State Interests Protection of the Public Prosecutor’s Office A. Melikjanyan’s reply says contesting government decisions is conducted in accordance with regulations prescribed by Chapter 24 of RA Administrative Procedure Code. This was the whole answer.
Reminder: an open letter with the abovementioned demand was published addressed to the President of Armenia, National Assembly Spokesman, Nature Protection Minister, Justice Minister, Human Rights Defender, Chairman of the Public Council and Public Prosecutor.
