In accordance with the government decision no. 836-N dated on 1 July 2010, the status of 207,4 ha land area in “”Voghji”, Syunik Region has been changed and awarded the status of land area for industrial and mining significance. 206 ha in this territory was forest-covered, while 135,7 ha - forest. -

According to the operative data of the Police of Armenia, 76 cases of fraud were recorded in the Republic of Armenia from January 1 2010 to August 9 2010, out of which 26 have been detected. Out of 33 cases of illegal tree felling 26 have been recorded, as well as one former similar case. All 9 cases of poaching have been detected.
