The Law Enforcement Service of RA Justice Ministry has imposed a prohibition on the property of "ArmOil' CJSC located in Yeghvard Town, Kotayq Region.
The Law Enforcement Service reached a decision to enforce "ArmOil' CJSC to stop the construction works held at 129, 129/1, 129/2, 129/3, 129/4 Yerevanyan st, and Workshop №2 in Yerevanyan st. in Yeghvard Town, Kotayq Region. The oil product processing plant constructed by "ArmOil' CJSC is located in these addresses.
This decision has been reached based on the execution sheet № ԿԴ3/0173/02/19 dated on 05.03.2019 issued by RA Court of First Instance General Jurisdiction in Kotayq Region.
“Rival” LLC has filed a claim to RA Court of First Instance General Jurisdiction in Kotayq Region demanding to stop the construction of the plant. Company PR specialist Elizaveta Asatryan said in her interview with EcoLur that the court hasn’t reached a final verdict. “Before reaching a final verdict the company must subject to the decision of the Law Enforcement Service,” Elizaveta Asatryan said.
Reminder: “Rival” LLC have large orchards located nearby the plant and production of dried fruit. Company Founder Rafik Virabyan claims that the construction of the plant is illegal, risks are not assessed and the adjacent orchards will be destroyed if the plant is operated and this will cause irreversible damage to the human health.
It should be mentioned that the construction of the plant hasn’t undergone any environmental impact expert assessment.
