Minister Aram Harutyunyan prefers cycling

September 16th marks the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer. To celebrate the day, the Armenian Ministry of Nature Protection will organize a cycling campaign in Jermuk resort city under the slogan "Save the Ozone Layer." The participants of the event will pass three kilometers on bicycles in support of the preservation of the ozone layer.

More than 30 ministry employees at the head of Minister Aram Harutyunyan will participate in the campaign. The minister will be accompanied by Vayots Dzor Governor Sergey Bagratyan and Jermuk Mayor Vardan Hovhannisyan. At the end of the event Aram Harutyunyan will meet local pupils in a Jermuk school in order to explain them the importance of ozone layer, its preservation and role in the environment.
