The operation of “Shogh” oil and ghee factory has stopped until 18 September as certain actions are taken to correct the drawbacks revealed. According to the order of Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan, checks were conducted in “Shogh” oil and ghee factory located in the administrative region of Shengavit. As it turned out, permanent operation of equipment designed for atmospheric emission filtration was not ensured during smell isolation of the factory. RA Law “On Protection of Atmospheric Air” which resulted in an administrative fine of 100,000 AMD imposed on the factory director. Nature Protection Ministry Spokesman Hasmik Mkrtchyan informed EcoLur about this fact.
