RA Chief Prosecutor’s Office has examined the verdict of the Public Environmental Court of the violations in forest ecosystem in Armenia, particularly the information on allotment of land areas from Arevik National Park for the operation of Meghrasar gold mine in Syunik Region, changes in the categories of forest areas as well as information about the elimination of forests in Armenia. A criminal case has been instigated as the Public Relations Department of RA Prosecutor’s Office informs.
