April 1 is the International Bird Day. On 1 April 1906 the International Convention for the Protection of Birds was signed. Armenia has also ratified this convention, nevertheless, bird species are decreasing in our country. If Armenia used to have 351 bird species, currently it has over 100 red-listed species.
