Trees to Be Cut Down in Hrazdan for Site Development (Photos)

Certain part of Hrazdan residents cut down trees for site development, while the other part dreams of having Hrazdan with its own brand and a town of Christmas trees. Each town must have its own symbol and I think that Christmas trees symbolize Hrazdan town. But at present it  is rather difficult to define what is happening in the park of Christmas trees. 'This is a real genocide,' said ANC Hrazdan office Head Mesrop Mesropyan to EcoLur. During its visit to Hrazdan EcoLur working group recorded tree felling in one of the park sections. As the photos show, the newly cut stubs are located in a certain area, and are not spread in all over the park, which is characteristic of territory cleaning. As the locals assure, this areas was given for site development.
