After short two-month calm, the seizure of public territories and tree felling for new site developments came up with a new bang.

Almost every day EcoLur receives phone calls from resident in different areas of Yerevan that somebody is cutting down trees in their yards, garden, park, street and somebody is constructing something. They are now seizing whatever they didn’t manage to do in the past. They are constructing there where HALT was given for a time. This garden located behind monument to Hay in Nor Nork, Atchapnyak community, the territory adjacent to Ministry of emergency situations, well-known 106/1 Nalbandyan Street and Dalma Gardens. The posts made by “Our City” and “We Are This City’s Owners” civic initiatives on Facebook already remind  battle remind.

Maybe the reason is that aggressors, you can’t call them in other way, were also busy with elections. Now when people we all know have held the main posts, they can act as in the past, jut more and more and more rapidly. Not so much time is left till next elections and it’s much better to manage to seize the territories at once and to construct buildings there.

Misters, don’t you resemble these holes dug out for fundaments with anything? Look carefully, there are many and not so far.
