EcoLur

EcoLur has launched a number of events - press conferences, round tables and publications dedicated to the energy, water, food and agriculture safety in Armenia. We are concerned with the bad forecasts, which threaten our country as a result of global warming. Though we can’t essentially affect on this global process, but reasonable management can help us to be ready for these negative shifts and to prevent the heaviest social, economic, environmental and health hazards.

The issue of safety in Armenia has already been covered in “Safety, Global Warming and Weather Forecasts” and “World Water Day, Water Safety, Lake Sevan” press conferences and in the following articles: “43% of Armenian Area Exposed to Desertification: National Focal Point of UN Convention to Combat Desertification”, “Armenia Meets Only 8.32% of Demand with Its Own Energy Resources”, “Armenia Exceeding Other Countries in Regard with Global Warming”, “Spitak and Vayq Committed to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 20% by 2020”, “Need in Irrigation Water in Armenia Three Times More Than Drinking Water”, “Lake Sevan Level Decreased By 7 Cm As Compared with 2014”, and “State Committee on Water Industry Going to Solve Water Safety Issue with Reservoir Construction and Accumulation of Water Resources.
