Canadian Environment minister Peter Kent announced about his country to withdraw from the Kyoto Protocol. Kent announced that this protocol is not within the interests of Canada, as there was the possibility of huge fines for Canada’s failure to meet emissions targets had also played a role. Under him, Canada is not acting in accordance with the Kyoto protocols.
