Reply of Environmental and Mining Inspection Body on Tree Felling and Construction in Erebuni

EcoLur

received a letter from Deputy Head of Environmental and Mining Inspection Body I. Sargsyan on the alarm signal published on EcoLur’s website and ‘EcoAlarm’ webpage, according to which trees have been felled near the crossroad of Mushakan and Jrashen neighborhoods in Erebuni and there is construction in process. The inspection body letter says:

‘ In the frames of the administrative proceedings initiated based on your alarm signal, on 15 November 2018, the employees of Environmental and Mining Inspection Body carried out an inspection in regard to the tree felling near the crossroad of Mushakan and Jrashen neighborhoods in Erebuni. It was found out that this territory is owned by ‘A&V Trading’ LLC so based on Article 202 (3) of RA Civil Code ‘Owner of the land parcel shall have the right to use everything situated on and under the surface of his or her land parcel, unless otherwise provided for by law and unless it violates the rights of other persons.’ and taking into consideration there is no bases to consider it as an administrative office, a decision has been reached to close this case.
