Nature Protection Minister and French Ambassador Discussed Cooperation Issues in Environment
Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan has received the French Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Armenia Anry Reno. The parties have discussed how to proceed with arrangements made during RA President Serzh Sargsyan’s visit to France, as well as issues concerning development perspectives of Armenian-French cooperation. According to Public Relations Department of Nature Protection Ministry, Minister Aram Harutyunyan has presented the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador the works carried out in environment. Minister Aram Harutyunyan proposed to invite the staff representatives of the French Nature Protection Ministry to Armenia for experience exchange and to get acquainted with the specially protected areas and ecotourism potential in Armenia.
Anry Reno said that the administration of French Development Agency will soon visit Armenia and a meeting will envisage in case of the consent of parties, where a number of funding issues will be discussed.
