The official website of the Armenian Government informs that the Armenian Government has allotted the Agriculture Ministry 52,600,000 AMD for the forestation of around 31 ha out of 51 ha in Erebuni Forestry, 20 ha around Artik Town, as well as the maintenance fees of the administrative part of the Fund for Forest Recovery and Development will be partially financed. The PM reminded that under the arrangements Yerevan Municipality shall submit a complex greening program to the government. “As we successfully finished the first stage with this allotment, we need to think about continuous programs, because e should improve the environmental state of Yerevan City with these measures,” Tigran Sargsyan said. “We have reported to the PM that after specifying other sources of program funding, within one month we will present the draft document.”
