EcoLur has sent an enquiry to RA Ministry of Emergency States requesting to provide information about the tailing dumps existing in Armenia. It is expected to receive the following documents from “National Technical Safety Center” SNCO of the ministry: opinions of the technical safety expert assessments of the tailing dumps, technical safety sustainability indicators of the tailing dumps, projected volumes, mirror surfaces, extent of risks of landslides, floods and other natural disasters, the marks of dams. The information has been requested on: “Armanis” tailing dump owned by “Sagamar” CJSC, “Nazik” and “Nahatak” tailing dumps owned by “Akhtala Ore Dressing Combine” CJSC, “Geghanush” tailing dump owned by “Kapan Ore Dressing Combine” CJSC, “Meliq Gyugh”, 2nd and 3rd tailing dumps owned by “Mego Gold” LLC, “Ararat” tailing dump owned by “GeoProMining Gold” LLC, “Artsvanik” and “Darazami” tailing dumps owned by “Zangezour Copper and Molybdenum Combine” CJSC, “Teghout” tailing dump owned by “Teghout” CJSC, “Ararat” tailing dump owned by “GeoProMining Gold” LLC, “Davazami”, “Hovit 1”, “Hovit2” tailing dumps owned by “Agarak ODC” CJSC.
