Teghout Support Group has disseminated an announcement dedicated to International Day of Forest Protection.
“...We demand from the Government of Armenia to stop eliminating our nature, which serves to interests of several individuals and groups so as to prevent forest elimination, as well as to take radical steps for this purpose.
A country with a total of 30,000 square km cannot develop wide-scale mining industry, on one hand, and to ensure healthy environment, on another hand, safe agriculture and tourism,” the statement says.
