At the meeting with journalists “Dundee Precious Metals Kapan” CJSC Director General Hrach Jabrayan particularly touched upon the recent steps of the Nature Protection Ministry, State Revenue Committee and Syunik Prosecutor’s Office in the enterprise. Under Hrach Jabrayan, it’s more difficult to have a meeting with Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan than with the Armenian President. “What is the purpose of these inspections? What for? Today the Nature Protection Ministry states that the company hadn’t applied to the Ministry for the construction of the road in Shahumyan mine. Mr. Harutyunyan, please be so kind to have a meeting with the director general of a large enterprise and to get convinced personally what is what. I don’t have so much money to give it to you,” Jabrayan said. He also kept a secret why he was offended from the government.
“I had a phone call from Canada and ask me what had happened, but I was unaware. The next day I learnt what was going on. (it’s about initiating a criminal case on Geghanush tailing pipe breakdown). I have myself applied to the prosecutor’s office to tell it was sabotage against the company. However, as a matter of fact, cards are stacked against us,” he said.
