On 25 April the first court hearing on Gladzor polymetallic mine was held at RA Administrative Court. 'Vayk Metal' LLC has lodged a file against Nature Protection Ministry and Ministry for Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources. The plaintiff is demanding from Nature Protection Ministry to annul the negative opinion issued to the EIA of Gladzor polymetallic mine. In the second part of the claim 'Vayk Metal' LLC is demanding to obligate Ministry for Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources to sign a soil management contract with the company to mine Gladzor polymetallic mine. Judge Karen Avetisyan rules to suspend the part of the claim against the Ministry for Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources and to try only the part of the case on annulling the negative opinion issued to EIA of the mine. The initial court hearing on Gladzor mine is appointed to be held at 12:00 on 16 May.
