Armenia continues to search for uranium

Armenian government makes an announcement concerning works on uranium search on the Armenian territory.
“The geological works implemented by the Armenian-Russian mining company meet the classical standards of geological investigations,” reads the announcement.
The announcement appeared on the page of the PM’s assistant after president of “Sustainable Development” NGO Armen Parsadyan posted a statement on PM Tigran Sargsyan’s Facebook page demanding to stop the searches for uranium. Parsadyan informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that a group has been created in order to coordinate the anti-uranium movement.
