Belarus is constructing its first nuclear station and is interested in the experience of Armenian power engineering specialists, as Energy and Natural Resources Ministry says. In the course of the official visit in Armenia held on 14 May the Head of Belarus Republic Alexander Lukashenko also visited the Armenian nuclear power plant. Energy and Natural Resources Minister Armen Movsisyan presented the guests the policy run in nuclear energy, as well as safety measures applied at ANPP.
Alexander Lukashenko hoped that Armenia will provide Minsk with specialists in this field, and an Armenian-Belarusian intergovernmental agreement has been signed on mutual cooperation in nuclear safety and radiation protection.
