Belarus president Alexander Lukashenko gave his agreement to sign the agreement with Russia for the construction of nuclear power plant.
The first power unit of the nuclear power plant in Belarus is planned to put into operation in 2017, while the second unit – in 2018. The prime contractor is Russian “Atomstroyexport” Company.
