“Rosatom” State Corporation Director General Sergey Kirienko positively assesses the work for ensuring safety at Armenian NPP and doesn’t think Russia needs to take part in plant management. “Inter RAO UES” Russian Energy Holding stopped to manage flow of funds of Armenian NPP starting from 1 January 2012.
Under Rosatom Head, Armenian and Russian parties have come to an agreement that the new power unit at Armenian NPP will have new Russian technologies.
“We invented unit 3+, which underwent certification in accordance with the EU requirements. Moreover, we have these projects not on paper, like many do, but we have already constructed them,” Kirienko said.
