Sergey Kirienko Highly Evaluated ANPP Employees, While Armen Movsisyan Wished to Fire Them

During his visit to Armenia, “Rosatom” State Corporation Director General Sergey Kirienko highly evaluated the professionalism of ANPP employees, “Today (on Tuesday) I visited the Armenian nuclear power plant in Metsamor and had a look how it operates. I should day that it has a rather professional personnel, and I positively assess how they ensure safety at ANPP. I don’t see any need for Russia to take part in ANPP management,” said Kirienko to journalists in Yerevan, says RIA News.
Reminder: two months ago 158 employees, qualified engineering-technical staff of the ANPP, who demanded to raise their salary. The employees said otherwise they would resign. Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan signed the dismissal letter stating he would find other professionals. But these people didn’t resign as they had a sense of responsibility. After several says the incident was settled.
