NASA reports that the solar activity has significantly increased recently and its peak will be in 2013. According to several scientists, the global disaster is rather perspective. Rather strong flashes of solar activity are able to induce sufficiently powerful electromagnetic impulses, which in their turn, may have catastrophic consequences for the humanity. According to scientists, the main source for hazard is nuclear power plants.
