Two-storey residential house had collapsed near Kajaran base of Kapan town: rescuers took the corpses out from the debris

On October 17, at 08:58 an emergency call was received to "911" service that a two-storey residential house had collapsed near Kajaran base of Kapan town, Syunik Province, inside there were residents: the rescuers' help was needed.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department and crisis management national center of the Rescue Service of MES of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that there was a landslide (about 2500 m3), as a result of which a two-storey stone house in the 5th lane of Erkatuhainneri street of Kapan town was collapsed.

Rescuers took the corpses of Ela P. (born in 1950) and Vladimir P. (born in 1943) out from the debris and brought them to the ambulance.

30 rescuers, public service and municipal workers participated in search and rescue activities.

The municipality and "Chaarat Kapan" CJSC each provided one special equipment.
