On October 17, at 10:57 information was received to “911” service that a grass area was burning in the territory of the 1st storage section of “Dilijan National Park” SNCO, Tavush Province.
A fire unit and operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
The fire was localized at 16:10 and extinguished at 17:47. About 15 ha of grass area, 60 tree stumps burnt and 20 beeches were damaged.
2 workers of “Dilijan National Park” SNCO and 2 water cars involved in firefighting operations.
