The executive has allotted 396 million AMD for the reserve fund for the annual rehabilitation of a number of water systems used by organizations in irrigation sphere, the implementation of works needing urgently to be solved and effective organization of the irrigation season. About 366 million AMD will be used for the program to combat low-water level in Sevjur River and underground reservoirs. About 30 million AMD will be used to drill wells for drinking water in Armavir Region. It has been reported at the meeting that main aqueducts will be ready for the irrigation season. It’s true that the fullness of the reservoirs is still not sufficient, but the precipitation expected for April and May months can replenish this lack. Pm Tigran Sargsyan asked what state of water reserves is as compared with the last year and it turned out that their state is favourable as of today.
