Degraded soil areas will be reclaimed in Armenia and returned to crop rotation. These measures will be implemented in the frames of IFAD-GEF project implemented in Armenia aimed at the reclaiming degraded soil areas and sustainable management of soil to promote increase in productivity.
Reminder: according to “Strategy and national action plan of combating desertification in the Republic of Armenia”, desertification in Armenia accounts for 48.8%.
