The government adopted a decision that the category of two land areas in Ijevan Community will be changed. These land areas with a total of 1.3664 ha should be used for the construction of an entertainment center. The interesting fact is that the category of land areas was changed to the category of specially protected land areas, but specially protected land areas don’t pursue any entertainment purposes, they are designed for biodiversity preservation. At the same time, the government didn’t take into account the objection made by the Agriculture Ministry with a reference to Article 36 (1) of Land Code of Armenia.
