“Khosrov Forest” State Reserve and “Sevan” National Park – Richest in Red-Listed Species

The richest sanctuaries in Armenian red-listed species are “Khosrov Forest” State Reserve and “Sevan” National Park, where 97 red-listed species of fungi, high-class plants, vertebrates and non-vertebrates were recorded. “Arevik” National Park takes the second place in regard with extinct species – 84, while “Shikahogh” State Reserve takes the third place – 76 species. “Zangezur” State Reserve follows “Shikahogh” with its 53 red-listed species, then “Dilijan” National Park with its 52 species, “Khustup” State Reserve with its 40 species, Arpi National Park – 34 species and “Erebuni” State Reserve – 26 species.
