There is an accused in the criminal case on the fire in ‘Khosrov Forest’ State Reserve. As the Advisor to Head of Criminal Investigation Committee of Armenia Sona Truzyan told news.am, the reserve employee was charged with Article 186 (2) (Destruction or damage inflicted to property by negligence) and Article 297 (1) (Obliteration or damage of forest). A number of expert assessments have been appointed.
This statement contradicts the statement made earlier by Nature Protection Minister Artsvik Minasyan, who said the fire broke out in three spots at once located in a rather far distance from each other, which enables assuming the fire was not spontaneous.
