MES: Activated Landslide Zone in Tumanyan Community, Lori Region, Is Not Residential Area

The landslide zone activated in Tumanyan Community, Lori Region, is not a residential area: as MES Information and Public Relations Department Head Faina Vardanyan told EcoLur. Under her, there are only two small houses in this area, which don't have any permanent residents. The houses are used as temporary accommodation to graze the cattle. They have been informed about the danger and there is no resettlement problem in the landslide zone.

On 21 January the landslide zone was activated in Tumanyan community, which resulted in the destruction of a large part of the gorge creating hazardous situations. MES Minister Davit Tonoyan visited the scene and got acquainted with the situation on the spot.
