National Center for Technical Safety of Ministry of Emergency States of Armenia informs EcoLur in its reply letter, that all the tailing dumps in Armenia have certificates on safety and projects, which undergo appropriate expertise. Under the Center information, the tailing dumps undergo technical safety expertise at least once per year as prescribed by law. No deviations have been revealed so far. “Service for Seismic Protection” of Ministry of Emergency States of Armenia has already conducted works on the assessment of seismic vulnerability of two tailing dumps in Syunik, Artsvanik and Voghji.
