Public Prosecutor’s Office Claim Illegal Siting Detected in Sevan National Park

Under official website of Public Prosecutor’s Office of Armenia, www.genproc.am, a criminal case has been initiated in regard with abuse of official authority and forgery committed by officials of territorial department of State Cadastre of Real Property and “Sevan” National Park.
The Supervisory Service of Armenian President detected that the process of allotting land areas for rent at Sevan National Park contained forgeries and unlawful actions. Particularly it’s mentioned that in 2007-2010 several persons were allotted for rent and siting land areas in the national park, which is state property. These illegal transactions resulted in causing significant damage to state.
