“The territory of green zones in Yerevan is still not sufficient. We should add it and make it double and triple more. Proposals should be submitted to set up forest zones in all the administrative areas of Yerevan. We will provide additional funding for this purpose,” said Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan at the working consultation and outlines that all the green zones should be provided with irrigation network. Environmental Department Head Avet Martirosyan reported that simultaneously 14 programs on landscape design are in the process of implementation in the capital, in the frames of which meadows have been established and designed; over 250,000 flowers have been planted and moved to administrative areas.
