EcoLur

“Sagamar” LLC Company is included in the list of enterprises where the Nature Protection Ministry is planning to hold examination in 2012. The reply letter addressed to EcoLur from Nature Protection Ministry dated on 16 May 2012 N 5/33/51233 signed by Ministry Staff Head Edgar Pirumyan says that. EcoLur addressed to enquiries to Nature Protection Ministry with alarm signals that “Sagamar” Company developing Armanis gold mine near Stepanavan dumps industrial wastes to the Dzoraget River.EcoLur also required holding inspections on the given alarm signals attracting locals and NGOs and determining the range of the damage caused.

The Ministry reply is not satisfactory, as the alarm signal needs immediate actions and not planned inspections.
