The Supervisory Chamber of Armenia has detected that “Nairii Berriutyun” LLC has held a monopolistic position due to the transaction by “Center for Environmental Programs” SNCO, a part of Nature Protection Ministry of Armenia, which it has acquired due to state budget funds and operating Finnish “Watermaster Classic 3” special excavator designed for cleaning Sevan lake littoral areas. A question arises whether this company was given the opportunity to hold a monopolistic position without any corruption interests. The examination held by the Supervisory Chamber of Armenia records that in August 2008 Nature Protection Ministry of Armenia submitted “Lake Sevan Waterlogged Forest Cleaning Works” program funding claim with exaggerated indices in the frames of the budget process for 2009 without mentioning certain land areas subjected to cleaning.
