The damage household incurred because of Argitchi SHPP pipe breakdown will be compensated by the developer of Argitchi SHPP, “Hydrocorporation” LLC. On 24 July Gegharkounik Regional Governor Rafik Grigoryan made this statement in reply to Aarhus Center Coordinator Liana Asoyan’s question at the press conference. Rafik Grigoryan also noted that Verin Getashen community has set up a proper committee, which is specifying the probable ranges of the damage that the households incurred. Reminder: on 18 July the pipe of Argitchi SHPP broke down and the water flooded the cultivated land areas of the villagers.
