The documents on the project of small HPP on Argitchi River are expired; their validity expired still in 2005. Gavar Aarhus Center received an alarm signal that the intensive construction works on small HPP are carried out and has applied to Nature Protection Ministry in regard with the lawfulness of the construction. The reply of the ministry says that “Hydrocorporation” LLC received the permit for water usage from Department for Water Resources Management in 2004, which term of validity expired in 2005. While this permit is the integral part of the license for the construction of a small HPP, which is issued by the Committee on Regulating Public Services.”
