On 27 September the annual program for measures on the use, natural development, reproduction, conservation and recovery of Lake Sevan ecosystem will be submitted at the government meeting. In the frames of the program it is planned:
- Cleaning of 122,5 ha of lake littoral area from. The planned amount is 125,400,000 AMD.
- Stocktaking and permissible volume of using animal resources, including fish and crawfish – 7,624,300 AMD.
- Working out measures on developing industrial, agricultural, energy, communication, tourism, urban development and environmental sphere in case of foreign financial support.
- Ensuring reproduction of valuable fish species in the frames of “Complex Services on Fish Reserves” program – 60,000,000 AMD.
- Implementation of monitoring, scientific research, reproduction, genofond conservation, natural heritage, landscape and biodiversity – 183,174,500 AMD.
- Ensuring transportation expenses, working out rehabilitation of territories, planned works – amount not fixed.
- Implementation of Arpa-Sevan tunnel program reconstruction – 1,937,821,800 AMD in the frames of governmental loan program and Abu-Dhabi Fund for Development.
