On 4 February, the discussion of mail ecological problems in Armenia was held on “Sardarapat” initiative. “For Sustainable Human Development” Association Chairman Karine Danielyan, the Chairman of Greens Union in Armenia Hakob Sanasaryan, Teghout Support group Activists Yeghya Mersisyan and Mariam Sukhudyan, Sardarapat Initiative Group Members made speeches at the meeting.
The slogan of the meeting was “Protecting Nature is Protecting Armenia.”
The meeting was put off for one hour, as Kanaz Culture House refused to give them space “for technical reasons,” as briefly said Kanaz Culture House Director Suren Azizyan to EcoLur. Sardarapat Initiative Group Member, Film Director, Tigran Khzmalyan said this is not the first time they are rejected in their request to provide space for their events. As a result, the meeting was held at Children’s Library after Khnko Aper.
