The young fish of Sevan trout has already thrown into the fish factory constructed near the shore of Shorzha in Lake Sevan. Our springs inform that 115 000 young fish weighing 50-70 g have been thrown in nurse ponds. Under the project implemented by Emi Fruit Company, the ultimate weight of each fish should make up at least 350 grams by November. The composition of the artificial forage for fish includes nitrogen and phosphorus. The environmental impact assessment positively concluded by the environmental expertise shows that fish rearing from young fish to 350 grams “23,678 kg forage will be thrown into the lake.” It also says that “…discharge of nitrogen and phosphorus will be so insignificant that the environmental impact is not reflected in the project,” project documents say.
