The air temperature in Armenia rose by 1.1 degree within 50 years. The measurements were carried out in 2012 as compared with those in 1960. Similar measurements were conducted in 2006 and it turned out that the temperature rose by 0.85 degree by that time. This statement is made by “Khazer” NGO. If to compare the changes observed in Armenia with worldwide data, the world temperature increase for the same period is turned out to be by 0.7 degree, i.e. warming rate in Armenia leaves behind global warming.
