RA Ministry for Territorial Administration and Development summarized the results of countrywide cleaning day held on 23 March. According to the official information, 473 garbage piles have been cleaned in the regions of Armenia, 36 garbage sites have been closed down (closed with soil). Streets and yards, roads of interstate, republican, regional and community significance, near-forest areas, parks, cultural and historical monuments have been cleaned from the garbage. Tree planting works have also been carried out. A new park has been founded in Armavir Region with over 1000 trees.
