Landslip Processes and Planned Forest Felling on Spot of Small HPP Construction – It’s Signal Alarm, Not Curiosity
Nature Protection Ministry sent a letter in regard with the alarm signal beaten by EcoLur on the permits of construction of small HPP next to Kechout reservoir, which says that the enquiry lacks information about the name of the construction company or the name of the HPP itself, so the Minsitry can’t meet this enquiry.
We would like to draw the attention of the Ministry that EcoLur enquiry in detail describes the whereabouts of this given HPP. The list of licenses issued for the construction of HPPs by the Committee on Regulation of Public Services, has the name of the company, number of license, its issue date, but it doesn’t mention the region and name of water resource – region, river, and waterfall. That is to identify which company in which region and on which river constructs the HPP is impossible. Moreover, under our data, the license for the construction of HPP next to Kechout was resold. At the same time, EcoLur enquiry is a signal alarm that landslip processes have been launched there, while trees on the spot of laying pipes should be cut down.
