The public representatives were not pleased with the meeting with Nature Protection Minister Aramayis Grigoryan at the Ministry on 13 June, as Public Environmental Alliance Coordinator Silva Adamyan told EcoLur.
On 18 June in his interview with EcoLur Nature Protection Minister Aramayis Grigoryan mentioned that in his opinion, the representatives of the public sector received satisfactory answers to their questions. But not it turns out that the answers were not satisfactory.
'We are pleased that the Minister supported us and organized such a meeting, but we are not pleased with the answers given by 'Rus Hydro'. Our economist Aram Grigoryan's analyses don't comply with the data brought by 'Rus Hydro' so as how much water is let out, to what extent the production of electricity depends on the water outlets etc...' Silva Adamyan said, 'The figures brought by 'Rus Hydro' were unclear for us. He couldn't table serious substantiations that additional water outlets from Lake Sevan don't have connection with the electricity production of the cascade.'
