Atmospheric air pollution has been reduced in Yerevan during the state of emergency declared to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Armenia. According to Environmental Monitoring and Information Center, on March 22-31, the dust concentration decreased by about 42% compared to the beginning of the month, and by 31% compared to February.
The decline in the concentration of pollutants, particularly dust, is due to the restriction or prohibition of traffic and certain economic activities.
